Understands customer requirements, develops and evaluates alternative systems solutions.
Participate in the Weekly status call with the client to discuss the action items on outstanding Incidents, Service requests and changes for the week.Translates high-level specifications for software components into program specifications.
Analyzes problems, conducts root cause analysis and help in resolution of problems using defined problem management procedure and help in application support and maintenance of customer applications.
Consistently applies fundamental knowledge of one technical discipline / programming languages for design specifications.
Applies in depth knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging simple applications.
Substantive knowledge of coding, testing and debugging.
Knows and consistently applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of applications programming.
Part of the core team in improving the existing ITIL support model on continuous basis depends on the technical and functional changes involved in the business.
Participate in the weekly Aging incident call with Service management team to represent and justify the reason for Aging of the incidents.
Flexible enough to work on a distributed application environment
Required to attend the bridge calls if necessary in case of any high severity issues over weekends
Understand and discuss client requirements for service requests
Estimate, Design, code, test and implement service requests
Do root cause analysis of incidents, document known error database, handle problem management
Graduate/Post graduate an any stream.
Good exposure and working experience on UNIX, Perl, Shell scripting, Strong architectural and design skills, Good communication skills.
Desirable - Hospitality domain knowledge
